The Crisis Center is a volunteer-driven organization that provides immediate and non-judgmental support for individuals facing emotional, food or financial crisis. The center responds to the needs of the community since 1970 and assisting thousands in crisis each year. The Crisis Intervention Program operates a 24-hour crisis line through mobile text and chat and mobile. The Food Bank Program provides food assistance and distributes almost 1.6 million pounds of food annually. Those facing eviction or loss of utilities are able to receive assistance through the Emergency Assistance Program.
