Tanager Place serves children and families challenged by social and psychological needs. Providing lifeline for struggling children and families who have nowhere else to turn, the work reflects three pillars of service: prevention, treatment and advocacy programming. Diverse programming and comprehensive services are offered to over 3,000 children and their families each year. Founded in 1879, the organization continues to create opportunity for growth, healing and education. Tanager has a staff of 23 to offer programs and services in southeastern Iowa.
