Families Helping Families of Iowa
Families Helping Families of Iowa’s (FHF) mission is meeting the needs of youth who have been abused or neglected. On average, a child placed in foster care moves seven times before the age of 18, with very few belongings. FHF’s programs are here to help make this difficult transition bearable by providing a clothing closet, shoes, scholarships, haircuts, school supplies, quilts and more on an emergency basis. These programs allow children an equal chance to be healthy and productive citizens.
