Beat Cancer Today

The mission of Beat Cancer Today is to create awareness of childhood cancers and to provide financial support for childhood cancer research, scholarships, patient and family support programs. Beat Cancer Today raises funds through apparel sales such as BEAT CANCER shirts, and special events. The organization financially partners with Children’s Cancer Connection, Children’s Oncology Group and University of Iowa Dance Marathon.  Scholarships provide financial assistance to survivors and siblings who wish to pursue post-secondary education from accredited educational institutions. Beat Cancer Today is 100% volunteer based and has raised more than $370k since first formed by the families of patients in 2009.
