Mission of Hope

In 2002, Mission of Hope began as a ministry founded by Barb Fuhrman, providing shelter for up to 16 men. In 2014, MOH founded a permanent location at 1700 B Ave NE and is the current site for the weekly lunch program, food pantry, classrooms and administrative offices.  In 2015, generous donors purchased a women’s shelter named Rosemary’s House that accommodate up to 12 women. Today, Mission of Hope serves individuals that have exhausted all resources and are seeking emergency relief.  Hours of operation for food service are Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. The Free Meal Program operates at the B Avenue location to help those in need of food - for themselves and their families (IDs required for each member of the household). Other services include a large clothes closet, a weekend food program and housing assistance.
