Additional services include a food pantry by appointment, senior and youth activities, rent and utilities assistance for eligible clients, and bus tickets, One of the most visible events is the signature Toys for Tots program that includes the Red Kettle Bell ringers over the holidays. The Salvation Army serves an estimated 34,000 members per year and has helped those in need throughout Cedar Rapids since 1888.
