Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids

Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids is an all-volunteer 501c3 animal medical organization. Founded in 2008, they are dedicated to saving the lives of Eastern Iowa’s discarded sick and injured homeless animals by providing the most advanced medical and surgical care at no cost to shelters and rescues throughout the area. Through a network of veterinary clinics and specialists, CC delivers hope and a return to health for pets having suffered through the inhumanity of neglect, abuse and the cycle of homelessness. These are the dogs and cats that are the first to be euthanized. By restoring health and adoptability, each pet is given the gift of a happy life that they deserve. CC receives no local, state or federal funding, existing exclusively on private donations. From surgery to the finest medical treatment, the passion of Critter Crusaders is to restore broken lives.
