Since 2006, the mission of Eastern Iowa Health Center (EIHC) has been to provide exceptional health care for all. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), EIHC provides high quality Family Practice, OB/GYN, pediatric, behavioral health and dental services to 5 counties in Eastern Iowa. EIHC is a patient-centered medical home, offering comprehensive primary health care services to the community, regardless of ability to pay. FQHC’s like EIHC are the country’s largest primary care network and the health care home for 30 million Americans in more than 14,000 communities. Community Health Centers are a critical element of the health system, serving both rural and urban communities, often providing the only accessible and dependable source of primary care in their communities.
