The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
In this work is a mission to advance research, provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. In 2018, the Iowa chapter provided much-needed resources to more than 11,000 Iowans affected by dementia, including a toll-free 24/7 helpline, education programming, support groups, care consultations and more.
