National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Johnson County

NAMI, the acronym for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s leading grassroots, self-help, education, support, and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMIJC serves the communities of Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty and all of Johnson County, although anyone is welcome to participate in organization and activities. This organization is where people can meet and learn from each other.
Educational programs and classes provide information about illnesses, symptoms, and treatment options, with available services for those living with a mental illness as well as colleagues and families.
