The Academy for Scholastic and Personal Success

The Academy SPS focuses on providing cultural information to Black, Brown, and Biracial students in order to provide them with the foundation necessary to excel academically. The Academy is not a remedial program. The organization serves students who are capable, but may not have reached their academic potential, as well as students who are doing well, who may not have a cultural foundation. The Academy SPS has grown to include programs for elementary and middle school students in addition to the original SPS program for high schoolers. Their most recent offering is Critical Conversations, a Zoom offering for community members who want to learn
about African American culture.
