The APG Foundation

Cancer can be costly. Since 2002, the APG Foundation has assisted local cancer patients with financial support, so patients get the treatments they need and keep their focus on healing. While medication assistance remains a primary form of assistance, services are provided intended to enhance patients’ total recovery and comfort, while helping them function as naturally as possible. Financial assistance is available in the amount of $3,000 per patient, per year, and can help cover the costs of a number of services.To apply for patient assistance programs, the patient must be a resident of Iowa and receiving cancer treatment in Linn County, Iowa or adjacent counties (Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Delaware, Iowa, Johnson and Jones).
