Area Substance Abuse Council

ASAC is a private, nonprofit organization, located in Eastern Iowa, and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The agency is licensed by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, to provide a wide spectrum of services aimed at preventing and treating the misuse of substances. ASAC is one of the largest and most comprehensive substance use prevention and treatment agencies in the State of Iowa. Outreach extends to the seven counties of Linn, Benton, Jones, Jackson, Dubuque, Delaware, and Clinton.
