Domestic Violence Intervention Program

The Domestic Violence Intervention Program (DVIP) is dedicated to safeguarding victim survivors through comprehensive support and advocacy, emphasizing immediate and lasting safety, empowerment, dignity and hope. In partnership with the community, DVIP is committed to eradicating domestic abuse via education, accountability and social justice. Victim survivors that have been affected by domestic or dating violence, stalking and human trafficking are served by DVIP. Addressing intimate partner violence necessitates a collective community effort. DVIP stands ready to provide essential support to victims and their loved ones throughout Johnson, Iowa, Cedar, Des Moines, Henry, Lee, Van Buren and Washington counties.
